Please read this before you start. It’s short.
You’re in charge
Build Your Butler teaches you to set up software on your own computer. You decide whether to follow each step, you run the software yourself, and you’re responsible for what it does with your accounts and data. That’s true even when you follow every instruction exactly. Instructions can be incomplete or out of date, because the services they describe change.
Not professional advice
Nothing in the course, and nothing your butler produces, is financial, tax, legal, medical or immigration advice. Budgets, spending figures and suggestions are for information only. Check anything important with a qualified professional.
AI makes mistakes
Your butler uses Claude, an AI model, to write summaries and understand your replies. AI can be wrong, even when it sounds sure. Check important details, such as dates, amounts and events, against the original source.
Your accounts, your costs
You create and pay for the accounts the course uses: Claude, the Claude API, Lunch Money and others. Their prices and terms are theirs, and can change. Set spending limits where the course shows you how.
Security is shared
The course shows you careful habits: secrets in the Keychain, a private network for your phone, trusted senders only. No setup is perfectly secure. Keep your Mac updated, use strong passwords, and don’t share your butler’s accounts.
Emails go to real people
Your butler emails the people you list. Check the list, and preview before sending, as the course shows.
No guarantee
The course and the Butler software come “as is”, without any warranty. See the Terms for the full wording, including the limits on our liability.
